COVID-19

PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
 
Wear a face covering in the spa at all times except while receiving services on an area of the face that would otherwise be covered by a face covering. Please bring your personal covering from home. To remain mindful of the environment, please bring reusable mask from home to reduce the amount of waste.
 
Arrive no more than five minutes before your booked appointment – waiting area has now been removed.
 
Arrive in clean clothing, with limited personal belongings. 
 
Manicure clients will be asked to wash their hands prior to the service.
 
Please bring your own open-toe sandals or shoes if you're receiving pedicure services.
 
Practice social distancing in the salon. Please limit person to person contact.
 
You will be pre-screened during the time of booking, and before entering the salon to confirm if you are feeling well – no fever, cough or other symptoms.
 
 
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT 
 
Attend appointments alone. Friends, family members, children and/or pets will be asked to stay at home.
 
Attend appointments with minimal personal belonging – no large totes or shopping bags.
 
While receiving services without the face covering on, please keep conversation to a minimum.
 
Massages will be temporarily unavailable.
 
Nail services during facial services are temporarily suspended.
 
Nail services at the Lac+Co hair salon are temporarily suspended.
 
Laptops will not be permitted in the spa.
 
Outside food or drinks will not be permitted in the spa.
 
We highly encourage cashless payment.
 
 
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY 
 
Download the COVID-19 Alert app so you can be notified directly if someone has been in contact with the virus.
 
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come for any services for 14 days or until you have tested negative for COVID-19.
 
If you have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come for services until your symptom and fever free. If you feel unwell or have any concerns about showing up for your service, please stay home, and stay safe. We will record the cancellation reason and waive the cancellation fee.
 
To allow as many clients as possible to get their preferred service, we will be strictly enforcing our 24-hour cancellation policy. 
A credit card is required to reserve an appointment. Lac+Beauty adheres to a 24-hour cancellation policy. Failure to show, late arrivals and any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of the price of the full appointment.  Lac+Beauty reserve the right to charge for any appointments that are missed without notice. Fees will be added to your bill if we do not have a credit card on file.
 
 
 
BOUTIQUE PREPARATION 
  
Acrylic dividers are installed at the Concierge desks, and nail floor to create separation between each guest.
 
We have reduced the number of clients coming through the spa per day.
 
We will prescreen, and check the temperature of our guests as they enter the spa. 
 
Staff will be prescreened and temperature checked daily before shifts. Personal Protection Equipment is a requirement: Face shield, masks and gloves.
 
Serving beverages of any kind, magazines and complimentary charging stations will be temporarily unavailable.
 
 
DEEP CLEAN PROCESS
 
Disinfectant and more frequent cleaning throughout the day, and at the end of the day. Staff will use disinfectants in all common areas.
 
All high-touch surfaces disinfected hourly, from the handle on the front door and to the Concierge desk.
 
All station, station chairs, brushes and tools are disinfected after each appointment.
 
We are providing hand sanitizers throughout the salon/spa for clients and staff to use.
